Christmas at Baddesley Clinton

As soon as you arrive at Baddesley Clinton you know you are in for something a little different. Greeted by beautiful dried flower wreaths on doors as you enter the dried flower theme continues through every room.

Throughout the Summer months the gardeners at Baddesley, along with volunteers and visitors alike have been collecting flowers and drying them naturally ready for use at this time of year. What a lovely collection of flowers they have.

The show stopper has to be the big tree in the Great Hall. Decorated with baubles made from many different coloured flower heads, it is quite something to see.

I have never seen anything like this before. It works beautifully.

The flowers are everywhere, so many must have been collected in full bloom then dried.

This garland on the fireplace in the dining room was very pretty.

Flowers on top of the dresser.

                                               In the main bedroom.

More beautifully dressed windowsills.

Upstairs in what I call the art room the tree was dressed very differently again.

I loved the flower chains on the tree in the library, they are so colourful and pretty when the Christmas lights caught them.

The last tree and not to be missed is the one decorated by little visitors.

And of course a quick shot of the deer.

I really enjoyed my visit to Baddesley, the team have worked wonders. For more info on Baddesley Clinton there is a link below.
